At dinner the other night, I told Alex to put his phone away.
"But Mom, someone's sending me a text."
"That doesn't mean you need to read it right away. I don't think it's necessary to have your phone at the table."
"But Mom...."
"Put it away. NOW."
Ted interjected here. "Your mom's right. You shouldn't have your phone at the dinner table."
He barely ate anything because he wanted some private one-on-one time with his phone.
Honestly.
Imagine me expecting him to eat dinner with us without his phone. I'm so mean.
