We had a very nice time yesterday over at AP and UT's. There was plenty of food, family, friends, and fun. Cornhole was a big hit. I've never played before, but I learned a little bit about it, and of course asked the most brilliant question of all: What do they put in the little bags they throw? Beans? Small stones? NO.........CORN. Hence the name, CORNHOLE. I swear, sometimes I can be really ditzy.
We did a lot of chatting too...it's always fun to just take the time to catch up on things with friends.
Okay, this was the part that I just didn't get...I don't know who came up with the idea of bringing an electric guitar and amp outside at 10:30 pm, but many of them took turns playing it. Tim is playing with Joe, Alex, Ted, and John looking on. Unfortunately they didn't take requests.
I hope all of you had a great holiday weekend!

That looks like a great evening!
Hi Cindy. First time visit here via Postcard Memories from Paulie. You have a wonderful reflection of American life here. I visited the States over 30 years ago now (time flies!), doing some prac. teaching in Wisconsin...still teaching! Lovely to see what you have been up to with your teaching too. What a happy holiday weekend you had with your 4th of July celebrations!
